One of my favorite comfort foods is PULLED PORK!
We had pulled pork last night and it was delicious. I forget how easy it is to make. You just have to remember to put it in the slower cooker in the morning!
Ingredients:
2 onions- I love vidalia onions
1 bottle of root beer (or one cup of water)
5 lb pork shoulder- I cut this is half and only cooked one because we are two adults and one child
your favorite BBQ sauce- famous Dave's, Open Pit, what have you!
Throw it all in the slow cooker for 7 hours on low, its that easy! Take it out and shred the pork, cook it for one more hour and serve it on your favorite type of rolls. I like to make corn bread and mash potatoes to go with it!

Yum, that pork looks awesome, so tender. Sounds like you had a mouthwatering dinner.
