I painted my nooks today. They went from this...
to this...
I painted them olive green the same color as my island.
it looked like this before
I have to have some continuity. I started to paint the hutch my olive green too (1st picture to the left connected to the grate, my nook), but I'm not so sure about it. I think it might be too much olive green, I might make it the same white as my wainscoting. What does everyone think?

As for my wainscoting.I think I am in love...and it was a labor of love.

Party @ Wow Us Wednesday

Where is your hutch? Is it against the wall? The real question is do you want it to stand out or blend in...
ReplyDeleteI am a bit of a minimalist, I'd go with the blend in. But that's just me. :)
Good luck!
Yeah, I'd have to know where the Hutch was going. I think the olive would look good. If you matched it to the wainscoting it might be too much ya know?
ReplyDeletethe hutch is built in next to the nook
ReplyDeleteI love that island...and the wainscoting is beautiful!!!
