12 Breakfast Places in 12 Months

This months Breakfast STOP is ORANGE
Orange supports locally grown organic products. They strive to spend most of their food dollar close to home. Their menu changes because they cook what is in season. At home I can make organic meals but going to a restaurant to eat organic is not as easy. Just one more reason why I like ORANGE!

This little breakfast delight is in Roscoe Village. There are other locations but this one is the best!

Cute right!? Most of Chicago is made up of blank Parks (Edison Park, Lincoln Park, Hyde Park, you get the idea) but Roscoe Village is named after the street that runs through it.  Unique for Chicago, for some reason Chicago likes to add the word park to its areas *most of this happened in the 1920's when the areas were annexed in.

The specials looked yummy. Orange is known for their Frushi (sushi with fruit in it).  It is always one of the specials. I went with Asparagus, forest mushrooms, sauteed garlic & marjoram (wild oregano), aged jack, topped with toasted
Omelet #6:
slivered almonds & balsamic reduction. Well minus the almonds. I ate every last bite!

My friend had Two eggs (your way), homemade corn tortilla chips, white bean puree, salsa verde, white Great with a side of sour cream and/or Guacamole!
Huevos Rancheros:
cheddar, served with house potatoes.
There are not many places that serve a mexican flare with a Sushi special- Boy do I love Chicago!

I highly recommend the joint. There are not many places around like it! Sometimes (sigh) I wish it was my job to dine at breakfast places.

Orange you glad you read my post?
