This weeks breakfast adventure was to
It's a touch of old world Italy in the heart of Chicago. This was Mandy's choice- nice choice Mandy!
Nothings says morning like a cup of coffee!
It was just us art girls, once a long time ago we all taught art together- although are careers have taken us in different directions we still like to get together and reminisce about, well the crazy students we had! Besides talking we ate. I had the tomato basil feta cheese frittata...
Daphne had the spinach omelet with a bagel and fruit.
Mandy had sausage with an egg over hard. Healthy went out the door this morning. Us art girls have to live a little.
We also talked about Mandy's upcoming wedding and how lovely it is to give birth. Anyone else try to cram everything possible into a conversation with old friends over breakfast? It got to the point that we were all laughing so hard I could hardly breathe. Well ..if you haven't taken time to go out to breakfast (or whatever meal) with some friends- you should. I said so!

Ohh, looks like the perfect place for a breakfast date. Frittata! And bagels! (Okay, I love all breakfast food...but this DOES look particularly lovely and good). I want to gather some friends for a breakfast outing now. Except I'm up and eating at 5:30 most mornings--might be hard to talk someone else into that...
