Milk and Honey, Please!

It's July so off on a new breakfast adventure. I love Chicago, where there are so many places to indulge in breakfast.

I brought my son with and I meet my friend Mindy at
Milk and Honey. Another Wicker Park delight. Wicker Park is a trendy area where you can find a lot of artists living and unique food!

The place was quite busy for a friday morning. Maybe it has something to do with their fresh baked goods. I like how their menu is on a chalkboard wall. You order what is available for the week.

The pastries look so delicious. Lets take a closer look. Interesting, peanut butter and jelly cookies, lemon lavender sugar cookies and beer potato chips. What should I try?

I picked out a nice home made graham cracker for my son, he ate it while we ordered and waited for our meal. Milk and Honey has a nice out door patio. We sat and watched the people go by.
There is always someone interesting cruising the sidewalks of Chicago!

So many good choices, my friend Mindy had the Orange Brioche French Toast. I would love to get my hands on this recipe!

I had the Blueberry Pancake special.

The portions are generous, I just needed to add a little syrup to mine so I could dig in! The freshly squeezed orange juice was the perfect way to quench my thirst!

Here are a few of my other breakfast adventures...
