Crepes or as I like to call them creps. My husband showed me some love the other morning by making this yummy breakfast. Maybe I should show him some love back by finishing this door:
Maybe latter honey...Right now, I'm enjoying my breakfast. Thanks!
Recipe for Crepes batter:
2 Beaten eggs
1 1/2 cups of milk
1 cup flour
1 tablespoon cooking oil
(make 18 crepes)Combine eggs, milk, flour oil, and 1/4 teaspoon salt: beat til well mixed. Heat a lightly greased 6 inch skillet, spoon in 2 tablespoons of batter. Lift and tilt the skillet to spread the batter. Brown on one side, invert with paper towel or cook it on a crepe maker-Yo!
Strawberry Sauce:
3 cups fresh strawberries
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cornstarch
Place half of the strawberries in a blender until smooth. Repeat with the second half. My husband left out strawberries to cut up and serve strawberry chunks with the crepes.
In a medium sauce pan stir together sugar and cornstarch, add strawberries, cook and stir over medium heat till thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more. Remove from heat, cool to room temperature. Makes about 1 cup sauce.
They taste better if your husband makes them... trust me!

These are beautiful and they have to be good! I'm impressed!
